On Episode 21 of The Healthy Kansas City Podcast, we welcome our friend Dr. John Humphrey, Jr., D.D.S of KC Dental Works.
Dr. Humphrey maintains memberships with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine, the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, the Holistic Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has pursued additional training in laser release of symptomatic tongue tie, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implants, occlusion and is an alumnus of the Panky Institute For Advanced Dental Education as well as the Spear Education Center. He is also the only SMART Certified dentist in the state of Kansas and the KC Metro. This certification is for the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique, something Dr. Humphrey feels very strongly about, protecting patients and his team!
We discuss all of the above plus his involvement with the Eco Dentistry Association, an organization dedicated to helping dentistry become a more environmentally friendly profession. In his current location, Dr. Humphrey is able to incorporate many new technologies that decrease the impact of the office on the world around us.
